Stash Bylicki, BA’09
Executive Director, Chor Leoni

Stash Bylicki is a seasoned arts and culture leader with almost two decades of fundraising and arts leadership experience. As the Executive Director of Chor Leoni, Stash has played a pivotal role in establishing Chor Leoni as one of North America’s most active and impactful choral organizations. Under his leadership, Chor Leoni shifted from seeing itself as simply a choir to being a multi-faceted choral organization with a live and digital artistic component, robust educational programming, a vibrant commissioning practice, and a deep-rooted connection with the community, all while maintaining worldwide excellence. The organizational budget has grown 5x under Stash’s leadership, most importantly translating to tremendous growth in impact across countless lives that are touched by Chor Leoni’s mission.

Stash is a trained fundraiser, beginning his career at the University of British Columbia, where he focused on major gifts fundraising for the Faculty of Arts as part of one of the largest capital campaigns in Canadian history. With Chor Leoni, this expertise has translated to a more than threefold increase in annual fundraising revenue across all fundraising functions: major gifts, sponsorship, annual giving, planned giving, events, foundation grants, and government support from all three levels of government. This has resulted in countless new relationships that continue to help Chor Leoni thrive.

In 2024 Stash was recognized as one of Canada’s top 25 Emerging Arts Leaders by Business / Arts, and in 2025 was recognized by Business in Vancouver as a 40 under 40 award recipient.
