Congratulations to our faculty members Dr. Alan Richardson, Dr. Ori Simchen, Dr. Dominic Alford-Duguid, and Dr. Michael Griffin, whose research projects were awarded funding through the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC)’s Insight and Insight Development Grant competitions.
Insight Grants
- Dr. Richardson won a 4-year, $101,292 Insight Grant for his production of The Oxford Critical Edition of Carnap’s Aufbau and Related Projects.
- Dr. Simchen won a 6-year, $54,600 Insight Grant for his project “Pragmatic Encroachment in Metaphysics.”
Insight Development Grants
- Dr. Alford-Duguid won a 2-year, $44,580 Insight Development Grant for his project “Thinking Generally about Properties.”
- Dr. Griffin won a 2-year, $76,000 Insight Development Grant for his project “Seeing the Individual: Love, Attention, and Dignity from Neoplatonism to al-Andalus.”
