Dr. Carrie Jenkins Named a Peter Wall Institute Scholar

Congratulations to our very own Dr. Carrie Jenkins for being named a Peter Wall Institute Scholar (2020-2021)! She will be joined by eight other Institute Scholars from across UBC for a year of collaborative, interdisciplinary research starting in August 2020.

For her part, Dr. Jenkins will be using her time at the Wall Institute to work on “a collection of creative scholarly projects deploying the Tarot deck (as classically illustrated by Pamela Colman Smith) as a creative and intellectual prompt.” She is also keen to explore “ways to support and mentor other academics who wish to pursue creative forms of developing and communicating their research.”
