Anna is a first‑year PhD student at UBC. Her research interests span philosophy of mind, aesthetics, phenomenology, and normative ethics, with a particular focus on the structure and content of perception, the nature of aesthetic and moral value, and the roles of attention, imagination, and emotion in shaping perceptual experience and moral agency. Her work engages Indian philosophy, both classical and modern, with interests in Rasa theory as well as Buddhist and Advaita accounts of selfhood, emotion, and freedom.
