About the 2022W Program
UBC Philosophy’s Cohort Program started as a pilot project and is being developed every year so it can be best tailored to our undergraduate student needs. Therefore every year you might find a new format and new content as we are on our learning path along with our students.
The program is meant to be developed taking into account surveys results and gathering feedback from our students. The Cohort is meant to be designed for our majors, combined and honour undergraduate students. In 2022 the program will take a slightly different approach both in terms of content and structure. The Cohort Series will allow our students to build relationships with fellow philosophy undergraduates, spend time reflecting and discussing how they want to approach their philosophical education (post-graduation) and have the chance to participate in an informal discussion with instructors outside of the classical course.

Eligibility
This program is designed for students within the first year of their major/honours/combined major program. If you have questions about your eligibility for the program, please do not hesitate to get in touch at: phil.ugradengagement@ubc.ca.
Our application form opened today, December 2, 2021, and will be closing on December 23, 2021. Please return the completed form to: phil.ugradengagement@ubc.ca.
Schedule and Details
Cohort participants will meet for 2 core sessions with further opportunities for connection, discussion.
Core sessions will be 1.5 hours in length. Sessions will take place in person. Location: TBD
