This Imagine Day, we’ll be holding a Zoom drop-in for new students. Join in for the opportunity to ask professors and current students questions about the kinds of philosophy classes and programs on offer at UBC, as well as the chance to do a little philosophy of your own through guided explorations of trolley problems, Newcomb’s paradox, and discussions about the ethics of COVID lockdowns. Representatives from the Philosophy Students’ Association will also be available to chat about how new students can get involved in the undergraduate philosophy community here at UBC. First-time philosophers welcome!
