UBC Philosophy’s Annual “Welcome Back” Event: Tuesday 7 September, 2:30-3:30 PM, Pacific
This Imagine Day, join the Department of Philosophy for an afternoon dedicated to asking (and, occasionally, answering) The Big Questions. We’ll give a brief overview of our slate of undergraduate programs, opportunities, and events before hopping into our annual round of Question Period, during which a selection of our esteemed Faculty members will answer questions like, “What are Philosophy’s timeless problems?” and “What can you even do with a Philosophy degree anyway?” all within a 60-second time limit. Be sure to come with your own questions (big and small). Philosophy majors, minors, and Honours students–as well as elective-takers and the generally-curious–are all welcome!
