The UBC Department of Philosophy (PHIL) invites applications from interested parties to be considered for the Killam Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Program.
The procedure is as follows: applicant identifies and contacts a potential supervisor in the department, completes the application package in consultation with the supervisor, and submits the application package to the PHIL department (phil.gradprogram@ubc.ca). An internal adjudication will take place, and the department will forward one application to the university-wide competition.
Deadline: The internal department deadline for the application is Friday, October 6, 2023 at 12:00 pm PT.
Key Information
- CAD 60,000/year for two years. The travel and research allowance has been discontinued and will no longer be offered to future recipients
- Open to Canadian nationals, permanent residents, AND international scholars
- Open to all areas of study represented by the Tri-Council and supported by the research expertise among the PHIL faculty
