Juan is originally from Colombia and is now enrolled at UBC as an MA student in Philosophy. Juan’s research explores historical scientific controversies to draw philosophical conclusions around concepts like evidence, proof, and theory-choice. Juan is also interested in technical discussions within the Philosophy of Physics (e.g., time reversibility/irreversibility, theories of space, uses of probability, etc.).
