My current research focuses on aesthetic value and normativity, particularly the category-dependence and social dimensions of beauty. Funded by JSPS (Japan Society for the Promotion of Science), I will be in Vancouver from 2024 to 2026. I completed my PhD at the University of Tokyo, Japan, in March 2024, where I worked on the categories of art and their role in art criticism.
