Richard is completing his PhD on the nature of affective qualities. Outside of philosophical interests, Richard enjoys spending as much time as he can with his beautiful and talented wife, following the NBA, discussing the supposed no-no’s of conversation: politics and religion, meetings at cafe’s, looking at maps, watching documentaries, constantly listening to music (esp. experimental electronic music) and working with Kousaku Yui to solve all the world’s problems (we are perpetually ‘almost there’).
